Threatened for me to pay a bill

Trys to say that we can get a free security system if we place a sign in our yard. Asked for my name for verification, as soon as I refused and said that I had no idea of knowing whether or not they were who they said they were, they hung up and said they'd call back at another time.

I keep receiving these disturbing phone calls from several Indian people telling me to please do not disregard this call. They have my social security number and told me to please provide an attorney. They have also contacted my references and also told me that they will contact my employer to have funds garnished. They also threatened to ruin my credit report. If you can assist please help. May god bless you.

Some foreign man called both my home and cell number. My home phone is unlisted. He left a message but did not make it out. Don't know who this is.

I also got the same sms message: Credit card payment confirmation #... for $5087.55 paid posted to account ####### on 06// It has got to be something like fishing because none of my Credit Cards have such an high credit line

Company calling my cell phone for someone who is not (and never was) the owner of my phone number. Very rude and obnoxious

Ask if you want some hot nits with some escorts , free trial for ten minutes .. said will send her over and you can do anyting you want .

They called, did NOT say who they were, just that it was "important that I call them back as soon as possible tonight".

Texted me and said to call about the front office reception job I've applied for.

The call came in my caller ID as 0000. They left a voicemail. I could not hardly understand them. I heard bits and pieces about me and my attorney of record calling them back. They said that they had some sort of legal action against my name and SS#. Told me to call as soon as possible and then wished me good luck.

After receiving more than 30 calls, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and call them back. I called over and over just to tie up their phone line. I would ask what their favorite movie was, if they liked coffee, what their favorite color was, ect. I figured as long as one of them was wasting their time on the phone with me, that was one less person they could call and scam. I kept getting passed up the chain of comman until I finally spoke to the supervisor who said my name would be removed and they would not call me again. It has been almost 5 days and I have not received a call. The BBB and FTC aren't doing anything to help us consumers so this seemed to be an effective way to annoy them. I could tell they were getting upset, but they have to answer the phone each time it rings just in case it might be someone they could get money from. Try it for yourself!
